Business coaching is not a one size fits all.  There is no single software program or self-help book that will give you the support needed to both grow your business and support you as a business leader.  One-on-one coaching provides the flexibility to guide you whether you have a start-up business, a growing business with employees, or an established company looking to take it to the next level.  In considering a business coach, it is important to first establish an open relationship that is comfortable enough to allow for honest communication, and also objective enough to allow for new ideas.

What does a business coach do?

As your business coach, I will ask questions to learn more about you and your business, and to help identify hurdles.  We will also discuss what you wish to achieve this month, and this year, and then guide you to develop actionable next steps.  I will add clarity and focus, provide actionable feedback, brainstorm ideas, act as a sounding board, motivate and remind you that you are not alone.

Where coaching provides guidance and ongoing support, business planning and strategies are more project specific.  Strategies are developed to promote the growth of your business, and may include the creation and implementation of any one of the following;

Defining a clear purpose is the first step, followed by a detailed action plan with deliverables that is then framed within a time schedule.  Each plan is customized to meet the needs of your company, and you as the leader.
